Q2 2024 iOS Performance of Top Investing and Financial Apps in the US

In the second quarter of 2024, the performance of the top five investing and financial management applications on the iOS platform in the United States showed varying trends. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, gives us insights into user engagement and app popularity.

Crypto.com - Buy Bitcoin, ETH experienced a decline in downloads over the quarter, starting at approximately 1.4M and tapering off to 476K. Weekly active users also saw a downtrend, from 7.5M in the first week to 5.3M by the end of June.

Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto displayed a similar pattern with downloads decreasing from 1.1M to 901K across the quarter. Weekly active users started at 9.7M, dipped in the middle of the quarter, but slightly recovered to 7.4M by the end of June.

Bybit: Buy & Trade Crypto also showed a decline in downloads, starting at 1.1M and dropping to 407K. However, the app's weekly active users initially decreased but then showed an increase towards the end of the quarter, ending at 7.8M.

Coinbase: Buy Bitcoin & Ether had a fluctuating download trend, beginning at 596K, dropping to a low of 238K mid-quarter, and stabilizing around 394K. The weekly active users for Coinbase demonstrated a declining trend, starting at 8.7M and descending to 6.7M.

Lastly, TradingView: Track All Markets was the only app among the top five to report revenue, with notable fluctuations ranging from $1.3M to a peak of $2.6M in the last week of June. Downloads for TradingView were relatively stable, hovering around the 300K to 500K mark throughout the quarter. Weekly active users exhibited growth, beginning at 9.3M and reaching over 10M in early June, before slightly retracting to 9.1M.
